Seventy choirs (including 10 youth choirs) will be participating in 57 events at 49 locations in the biggest Festival ever. Choirs from fifteen countries will sing in 29 concerts and at twelve tourist attractions across Cornwall.

The Festival will feature two major premières. Epsom Male Voice Choir will première the Composers' Competition winning piece "Crossing the Bar" (see right) and Alan Bullard's "Health and Safety" which will be premièred by Warwickshire County Male Voices on Sunday 3rd May in the Hall for Cornwall.

We are in the last few weeks before the Festival. The pre-Festival concert series (27 Feb - 1st March) was a great success and, thanks to all the choirs that particpated, raised a considerable sum (still being calculated). The retiring collections for the Intensive Care Unit Fund at the Royal Cornwall Hospital raised £1000. Thank you all for your generosity. It is a wonderful sum. The money will be presented later in the month.

Epsom Male Voice Choir will be premièring "Crossing the Bar" in the opening International Gala Concert (Truro Cathedral Thursday 30 April 2015). Written by their Director, Ian Assersohn, the piece won the 2014 Festival Composers' Competition.
