2009 Accommodation and Travel
FESTIVAL ACCOMMODATION for Choirs for visiting choirs
is arranged at choir cost by the Festival in hotels based mainly in and around the coastal town of Newquay, within easy travelling distance of all Festival venues. Smaller visiting choirs could be hosted by Cornish choirs.
The Festival Office organises all accommodation and local travel requirements at choirs' own cost. It is a condition of participating in the Festival that the Festival organises visiting choirs' accommodation packages.
Accommodation is available in three price brackets:
£12-£30 per person per night. Holiday camp resort centres, mobile homes, guest houses etc. Some of this accommodation will be on a self catering basis
£28-£43 per person per night. Travel Inn / Lodge / hotels, mostly en-suite rooms. Bed & breakfast and sometimes evening meals.
£45-£75 per person per night. Hotels all with en-suite rooms. Bed, breakfast and evening meal.
All accommodation and travel costs are the responsibility of visiting choirs, although the Festival may be able to offer some assistance in special cases for visiting overseas choirs.
FESTIVAL ACCOMMODATION for Visitors
The Festival can always assist in putting visitors
